The Map as Art
The kind folks at Princeton Architectural Press sent me a copy of The Map as Art, a collection of maps by a variety of artists, both well-known and less-known by Katharine Harmon. According to their write-up, "In an era of globalized politics, culture, and ecology, contemporary artists are drawn to maps to express their visions." Some of these maps are just exquisite in their detail and form. And some will make you look twice. |DBK
