We had a rockin time this weekend at the Virgin Mobile Festival in Baltimore! It was my first large-scale music festival, and it totally lived up to all the hype. I was only there on Saturday, mostly to see Bloc Party, Lupe Fiasco and the Foo Fighters. Ok, fine, mostly Bloc Party. I'm a little obsessed.
The branding for the festival was pretty great. Everything from the website to the large banners surrounding the stages to the hand-held program booklets—they were all well thought out in terms of typography and hierarchy. You can see this especially on the home page of the website. And the colors are great.
My only complaint about the festival: Can we please have a separate section for crowd surfers? |DBK
